Level 3-NTS Coach Trainers will only need to purchase a single Level 3-NTS Coach Course - Coach Trainer Certification packet to teach the Level 3-NTS Coach course or to prepare for the Level 3-NTS Coach Trainer online exam.
The Level 3-NTS Coach Course – Coach Trainer and Student packets were updated in mid 2017, so Level 3-NTS Coach Trainers should take extra time to become familiar with the new materials before teaching this course.
Current USA Archery Level 4-NTS Coaches and Level 5-NTS coaches can easily apply to become a Level 3-NTS Coach Trainer by taking the following steps:
- 1) Login to your USA Archery Membership Services Account and apply to become a Level 3-NTS Coach Trainer. There is no fee to become a Level 3-NTS Coach Trainer.
- 2) Go to the USA Archery Shop and purchase a new Level 3-NTS “Coach Trainer Packet.”
- 3) After you receive the new materials, review the Instructions for How to Teach the Level 3-NTS Course, the Level 3 book, and USA Archery Mobile Coach videos to prepare for the online exam.
- 4) You will need to complete one of the following:
- 5) Have completed the Human Kinetics Coach Education - Coaching Principles Course.
- 6) Once you complete the above requirements, email gkrueger@usarchery.org to receive the link to watch the Level 3-NTS Coach Trainer Webinar/Recorded Presentation and take the FREE Level 3-NTS Coach Trainer online exam. You must pass the exam with a score of 90% or higher.
- 7) Upon successful completion of these steps, your membership services account will be updated to reflect your Level 3-NTS Coach Trainer certification. Please note, the Level 3-NTS Coach Trainer certification will not supersede your current coaching certification, but rather be an additional certification you possess.
